Scuba Diving Age Limit & Medical Rules

Safety is our number one priority. Before booking, please review the age limits and health requirements for scuba diving at Netrani Island.

Age Limit Rules

  • Minimum Age: 10 Years
  • Children aged 10 and above are permitted to participate in the Intro Try Dive and PADI certification courses.
  • Children under 10 are welcome on the boat as passengers and can do surface snorkeling if comfortable.
  • Maximum Age: 60 Years
  • Healthy adults up to 60 can dive.
  • Anyone above 50 must fill out a self-declaration health form, and those with pre-existing conditions need a doctor's clearance.

  • Medical Health Restrictions

    You cannot participate in scuba diving if you have any of the following conditions:

  • Asthma or Respiratory Issues: Active asthma requiring inhalers is a strict restriction.
  • Heart Disease: High blood pressure (uncontrolled) or heart ailments.
  • Pregnancy: Pregnant women are not permitted to dive for safety reasons.
  • Recent Surgeries: Must be fully recovered (at least 6 months post-op).
  • Epilepsy or Seizures: Any history of fits or fainting spells.
