Scuba Diving for Non-Swimmers in Murudeshwar

The most common question we get is: "Can I do scuba diving if I don't know how to swim?"

The short answer is YES! More than 70% of our first-time guests do not know how to swim.

How Scuba Works for Non-Swimmers

Scuba diving is very different from swimming. When you swim, you use energy to stay on the surface. In scuba:

1. Floating Jacket (BCD): You wear a Buoyancy Control Device. By pressing a button, the instructor inflates it with air, letting you float effortlessly on the water surface.

2. 1:1 Instructor Support: You are never alone. A certified PADI dive professional stays with you, holding your harness throughout the entire dive. They handle your depth, direction, and equipment.

3. Breathing Gear: You breathe through a regulator connected to a tank. You do not need to hold your breath or poke your head up.

4. Underwater Briefing: Before entering deep water, you will practice breathing and mask clearing in shallow water next to the boat.
